Authors worry and fret a lot about book sales.
Particularly their own. And for good reason.
Most writers want to make money from their labors.
But what happens when the sales aren’t happening for you? Do you go into a funk and stop writing?
I’ve found that when I’m writing on a consistent basis, that is, nearly every day, that my mood is good, my spirits lift, even if I’m experiencing a slack period in book sales.
Right now, is not one of those times. The holiday season always brings an increase in sales for most authors, but that’s another story for another day.
The point is to keep writing.
Whether the sales come or not, you’ll feel good about getting yourself in front of that computer or writing pad and putting down words.
Seasons greetings and let the words flow.
